Muse opens a hardware kit for custom agent interfaces

Muse Gadgets describes an open hardware path for connecting the Muse agent to ESP32 boards, Raspberry Pi devices, displays, buttons, sensors, and actuators. Its firmware and SDKs use Apache 2.0 licensing, with examples such as an e-ink display, TV stick, and Home Assistant controller. Meta also said subscribers will get access to 5,000 Home Links.
This moves an agent beyond a chat window into a purpose-built interface. A maker can choose a cheap input or output device for one job instead of building a full app. The open-source layer also makes the connection easier to inspect and adapt.
Start with one reversible prototype: a display for a short answer or a button for one approved action. Measure response time, recovery from errors, and whether the physical control beats a screen. Keep device permissions and actuator actions separate.
