Flow Engineering raises $50M to apply agents to hardware design

Flow Engineering announced on September 30 that it raised a $50 million Series B at a $750 million valuation. The round was co-led by Valor Equity Partners and Atreides Management, with Sequoia and other investors joining. Flow says its systems-engineering agents watch changes across CAD, Git, simulations, and documents, then run impact analysis and flag conflicts or failed requirements.
It is vertical AI tied to a costly engineering loop, not a general chat window. Its value depends on links between requirements, designs, and tests, plus engineer review. Flow says customers include Rivian, Anduril, Joby, and Stoke Space.
Start with one change-impact workflow and compare agent findings with an engineer's review. Track missed conflicts, false alerts, review time, and rework avoided. Keep source records linked to each recommendation so a team can audit why the agent raised it.
