Google plans an October 1 test of an orbital AI data center
Google’s first Suncatcher satellite will carry four TPUs and run an initial 15-minute test. The experiment is meant to test whether solar-powered orbital compute can support a larger constellation.
Google makes Gemini Live with Live Avatar generally available
Google Cloud says the service is ready for enterprise production with synchronized video avatars, background tool calls and live camera or screen understanding. It supports 97 languages and is available through US and EU endpoints.
