CopilotKit turns agent traces into reusable learning data
Agent products can treat user corrections as a data pipeline: one trace can support a skill, an evaluation and a future training set.

CopilotKit announced CLiF on October 13 as an early-access system for capturing agent traces and user actions through AG-UI. The company says the captured trajectories can become reusable skills, production evaluations and fine-tuning datasets. It presents the system as compatible with different agent harnesses, models, mobile clients, Slack and Teams, with self-hosting and export as part of the design.
The product idea is useful because agent teams often collect feedback without turning it into an operational learning loop. CLiF tries to make the trace durable: what the agent did, what the user changed and which outcome was accepted. It is early access and the public page points to a demo and documentation rather than a self-serve trial, so validate data quality and exportability before building around it.
What you can do with it
Start with one repeated workflow where users already correct the agent. Define the accepted outcome, capture the trace and check whether it produces a useful skill and a repeatable evaluation. Do not collect broad logs until the first workflow creates measurable rework reduction.
Our take
The promising part is the connection between product telemetry and model improvement. Many teams have traces but no feedback contract. CLiF is worth watching if it keeps the data portable; a closed trace store would weaken the long-term value.
