Microsoft's Copilot home adds Code and Autopilot, from $9.99/month
Microsoft's new Copilot home combines Code, Cowork and Autopilot, with plans from $9.99/month; makers can test whether one work surface replaces several focused tools.
- individual monthly starting price
- $9.99
- business monthly price per user, paid yearly
- $23.50
- enterprise monthly price per user, paid yearly
- $30

Microsoft is regrouping Chat, Cowork, Code and Autopilot in one Copilot home. Code turns a description into a dashboard, tracker or app; Cowork hands multi-step work across Microsoft apps and data; Autopilot is a private-preview personal agent with identity, memory and tools. Microsoft says its Auto system chooses a model by accuracy, speed and cost. The home page is available in Microsoft Frontier, so this is a gated product rollout rather than a universal launch.
Pricing gives the commercial shape: individual Copilot starts at $9.99 a month, business is $23.50 per user per month paid yearly, and enterprise is $30 per user per month paid yearly. The obvious alternative is a separate coding agent plus an automation tool, which can be cheaper and more portable. What remains unproven is whether one Microsoft surface will beat focused tools on speed, control and trust.
What you can do with it
Open the Copilot page and check Frontier access. If you get in, give Code a small dashboard or tracker brief, then compare the edit cycle with your current coding agent. Teams should price the business plan against separate coding and workflow subscriptions before switching.
Our take
This is a serious distribution move because Microsoft can put coding and task execution beside the files and permissions people already use. It is not yet a clear product win: Autopilot is private preview, access is gated, and a single home can become a slower menu of promises if Code and Cowork do not match specialist tools.
