Shopify lets browser agents complete authorised checkouts

TechCrunch reports that Shopify now supports browser-based agents through checkout, including Shop Pay, instead of stopping at search and cart creation. The update adds tools for reading, changing and completing a checkout, while the buyer must still authorise the order. This moves agentic commerce from product discovery into a real transaction boundary.
