Anthropic releases Sonnet 5.5 for faster everyday work

Anthropic released Claude Sonnet 5.5 and says it is more than 30 percent faster, with up to 30 percent lower cost per task, while keeping the listed input and output prices of the previous model. Anthropic also published benchmark results for coding and computer use, but the announcement does not provide independent confirmation of those results in production settings.
